Village Hall

The present village hall was constructed in 1978 with a recent extension added in 2010.

Situated in the heart of the village close to the village green and the White Swan public house, the hall is supported both by the parish community and by people from outside the village.

The Village Hall Committee is responsible for steering the events and organizing the essential logistics. The activities organised by the Village Hall Committee include –  sewing classes, afternoon teas, race night, quiz night, discos, dances, table-top sales, fund-raising auctions, duck race, sponsored walks, scarecrow trail,  “It’s a Knock-out”, youth club, village bonfire. 

There is also a “100 Club” with a monthly prize draw of four numbers and a bi-annual major prize draw
